The Oregon Health Plan does not cover GLP-1s for weight loss in adults. Narrower diagnoses can qualify. That is the first thing to settle before booking, because it decides whether you are paying a program fee plus the full cost of the drug.

Medicare now has a $50 route, and it started this month
The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge began on July 1, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2027. Eligible Part D enrollees pay a flat $50 per month for Wegovy, the Zepbound KwikPen, or Foundayo, and that amount does not rise as the dose goes up. Eligibility runs through the prescriber, who attests that the patient meets the clinical criteria. One catch worth asking about: these copays do not count toward the Part D deductible or the annual out-of-pocket limit.
